Smoked Pork Sausage

  • After slicing the sausage in bite size pieces, fry the sausage in a dry cast iron skillet on high heat.  After the slices get a nice fried crust, transfer to your soup or stew.  Add a little water to the hot skillet to release the drippings, and add those to your soup or stew for a great flavor.
